Increasing Your Weight

For starters if you want to learn how to improve your bench press the first thing that you want to do is increase your weight. Now there's a few different ways to do this.

One is by increasing it gradually and the other is to increase it with pyramids. Pyramids are where you start at one weight and move up a few pounds on your next set and every set there after. In essence you will also gradually increase your weight with pyramids as well.

It's all really preference, however for me what worked best was gradually increasing my weight as opposed to increasing my weight with pyramids.
